The additional history books provide a deeper dive into pivotal periods such as The Holocaust, China’s Cultural Revolution, and the Islamic Revolution. Meet Winston Churchill and suffragette Lizze Stanton in gripping biographies. Gain a valuable life skill with a study of how advertising works.

Literature & Language Arts

In the Literature portion, high school students read a sampling of classics from world literature (1750 to the present), along with great historical fiction set during key periods of world history. The language arts assignments correspond closely with the literature to provide a complete high school level writing program covering literary analysis, timed essay writing, research papers, and more. Please note: The literature assignments don’t always match the same timeline of the readings in the complementary World History program.

Required Resources

Includes two binders to keep your Instructor's Guides in one place and The Timeline Book for your student to visually map the progression of American History.
