This complete homeschool curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded, flexible educational experience. Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s included:
Instructor’s Guides
This homeschool curriculum includes separate Parent and Student Guides with a structured 36-week, 4-day schedule, allowing an extra day each week for co-ops, extracurricular activities, and personal projects. Both guides are similar, with the Parent Guide containing additional answers, map activities, and grading notes to support learning. All lesson plans are prepared for you, so you can spend quality time engaging with your student and exploring topics in-depth. Each day’s plan is organized with what to read, discuss, and work on, sparking meaningful discussions on family, politics, history, and character.
Virtual Access
An optional online platform provides a digital approach to homeschooling. Students can track reading schedules, complete assessments, and receive instant grading. Parents can oversee progress, adjust assessments, and communicate with students via any device. Each Virtual course includes accounts for one student and one parent/teacher. Courses must be started within six months of purchase and completed within a year.
History Homeschool Curriculum: The History of Science
Centered on Joy Hakim’s The Story of Science, this history curriculum explores the lives and discoveries of Aristotle, Newton, and Einstein, connecting scientific advancements to historical events. Additional literature enriches the context of these scientific eras, with books like:
- String, Straight-Edge & Shadow: A visual introduction to geometry’s discovery.
- Archimedes and the Door of Science: A look into Archimedes’ inventions and influence.
- Bomb: A recount of the race between the U.S. and Germany to develop nuclear technology.
Language Arts & Classic Literature
Students engage in classic literature and poetry rather than parent-led Read-Alouds. The Language Arts program emphasizes vocabulary development and creative writing. Writing assignments cover various genres: narrative, argumentative, expository, persuasive, and descriptive. Students complete a four-week research project and periodic report-style assignments. Each project includes assessment guidelines to help parents evaluate the work.
Science | Physics, Electromagnetism, and Waves
This science curriculum includes a Student Lab Book, Parent Guide, and a Science Supplies Kit containing materials for lab experiments. Each lab correlates with concepts from the History of Science curriculum and includes step-by-step instructions with photos, pages for recording results, and tips for parents. Students should understand basic algebra for some lab exercises.
Math
This package includes the Math-U-See Algebra 1 Universal Set. Other options, like Saxon, are available in the Customize tab. To ensure students are prepared, they can take the Algebra 1 Readiness Assessment.
Required Resources
Additional resources enhance the curriculum experience:
- The Timeline Book for recording historical events.
- A Markable Map & Markers for geography studies.

Can I use this package with both of my children?
Yes, you can! Your students will be able to share most of the resources in the All-Subject Package, including Read-Alouds, Science, and History. They can also share the Timeline Book and Timeline Figures, but you will need duplicates of some of the worksheets. You may also need additional math resources. Please look at the “Consumables” tab to see a full list of the consumable materials in this package.
Please remember that Math is a skill-based subject. Even though your students are in the same age range, they may not have the same skill levels. Use the assessments on our Resources page to help you pick the correct Math option for each of your children. Once you know the correct Math levels, customize the All-Subject Package to fit one of your student’s needs. Then, supplement the package with an additional Math program that fits your other students.
Not sure if this is the right fit? Please review the options below to find a package that will work for both of your children:
- Ages 11-13 | Level G All-Subject Package
- Ages 13-15 | Level H All-Subject Package
- Ages 12-16 | American History & Literature I
If there is more than a three-year age difference between your children, we recommend that you purchase a separate package for each student.
Can my students share the Science Supplies Kit and Student Lab Book?
If your students are willing to work together as lab partners, they can share the resources in the Science Supplies Kit J and Student Lab Book. But, a second set is recommended so that each student performs every experiment.
Which Math program/level will be best for my child?
Math, like reading, is a skill-based subject. It is important to pick a program and a level that fits your child’s learning style and ability. Please take a look at our Resources page for a comparison of our different math options. We also have placement tests to help you figure out the appropriate starting point for your child.
Can I purchase the package without Math?
Our All-Subject Packages are built to include everything you need for your school year: History, Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Math. We love our packages so much that we discount them 20% off the retail price. You can purchase the elements of the All-Subject package without purchasing math, but you will not receive the 20% package discount.
If you are certain none of our math options will work for you, please add the following products to your cart individually:
What are the “Required Resources” and why are they required?
The Required Resources include a big binder with 36-week tabs for your Instructor’s Guides, The Timeline Book, a reusable Markable Map, and a set of wet-erase markers. These resources will be reused in almost every level of our History program and can be shared by multiple students. You will be given the option to purchase these items every time you buy an All-Subject or Reading with History Package, but you only need to buy it once.

The decision to homeschool our daughter, Alexa, was an easy one. Choosing a curriculum that worked well with her goals and schedule was a little more difficult.
