This program is for beginners to forgetters: families who are brand new to French all the way up to native French-speaking parents with a child who replies back to you in English instead of French. No matter your level of French, TalkBox.Mom will help your family to consistently use French so you can always be ready to use French outside your home as well.

TalkBox.Mom FAQs
Is TalkBox.Mom expensive?
TalkBox.Mom is a premiere program that will save you a lot of money. A similar immersion experience would cost at least $600 of sessions with a native speaker per box. (This is just the equivalence of you practicing with the audio--not doing the other activities.) The French 1 Year Package includes three boxes (over $1,800 in value), plus you can review them with no extra cost and use them with more than one child.
What kind of French is taught?
The French in the TalkBox.Mom program leans towards the French being spoken in Mexico, which is the most common French used in the United States. The native French speaking teams of women who made our French program are professional translators, editors, and voice artists from Mexico living both in Mexico and the United States.
I don’t want my child to look at a screen. Can I still use TalkBox.Mom?
Absolutely. You can play the audio in the TalkBox.Mom Companion App or on the website without having your child look at the screen. The point is to use the phrases in your real life--not to live in the app.
Is TalkBox.Mom right for my family?
If you would like to use French in your home with your family, this program is right for you!
If you do not want to help your child practice by using the phrases you are learning, this would not be a good option for your family as you’ll need to do the program with your child. (You don’t have to be good at it. You just need to do it.)
Does TalkBox.Mom work with students who have learning disabilities?
As you start the TalkBox.Mom program, you can focus specifically on speaking and listening. This is very helpful for families with children who have specific learning disabilities that make writing and reading more difficult.
Families who have used TalkBox.Mom with some of their children have noticed that their less verbal children who weren’t specifically being taught start using French as well.
TalkBox.Mom is also great for children who cannot sit for long periods as the goal is to practice the phrases in real life, so sitting is very minimal.
How many children can use the program?
The program is made for at least one parent to do with at least one child in your household. If you have multiple children, you can use the same immersion program with those children as you’ll be doing it together. You don’t need to purchase additional packages. Please note, the immersion program itself is non-transferable to other households as it is partially a digital product.
How old do my kids need to be?
If you speak to your child, your child isn’t too young or too old.
When does the app access expire?
It does not expire. TalkBox.Mom wants you to consistently review and use the program with your family--even if you have another child join your family. There is lifetime access for your family in your household.
