- Science J Package | Ages 14-16
Description
Details
Physics, Electromagnetism and Waves
Unlike most BookShark Science programs, Science J does not include read-alouds. Instead, this program for ages 13-15 includes two main components: a Science Supplies Kit and a Student Lab Book (includes Parent Guide). The 36 labs are designed to complement the BookShark's Level J History of Science and require some knowledge of basic algebra.
The Student Lab Book includes:
- Science lessons which review concepts from the reading assignments in BookShark's Level J History of Science curriculum
- Weekly, step-by-step, photographed instructions for lab experiments that correlate to the science concept of the week
- Consumable Lab Activity Sheets for the student to record their results
- A parent guide with tips for each lab and a full answer key

FAQs
FAQs
Can Science J Package be used as a standalone science program (without Level J History of Science)?
Because of the lack of reading material in the Science program and how closely it is aligned with Level J History of Science, it is not recommended to use this course as a standalone science program.
What prerequisites are suggested for this course?
Students should understand basic algebra.
Can my students share the Science Supplies Kit and Student Lab Book?
If your students are willing to work together as lab partners, they can share the resources in the Science Supplies Kit J and Student Lab Book. But, a second set is recommended so that each student perform every experiment.
